Abstract

The practice of sexting in Cuba begins to be an increasingly visible phenomenon from the growing number of people who access social networks on the Internet.  In this way, an exploratory study on practice of sexting was developed. For this, an online questionnaire was applied and the access link was shared in WhatsApp, Facebook and Telegram groups. As a result of the processing of the collected information, the prevalence of the practice of sexting in the selected sample was verified, as well as the systematicity which was carried out and the coexistence evaluations on it. Based on the triangulation conducted, similarities and differences with respect to other contexts were examined, future lines and limitations were identified, as well as trends were established within the sample studied.
